Finding myself branded with the unenviable mark of the long-term unemployed, I've decided that as a tool to help maintain my sanity, as well as exercise my writing muscles, I will make regular blog entries here. Rather than a "dear diary" format, I've opted to pick a different topic each time, one that captures the main thematic flavor of the day. I'm hoping that none of this content ends up coming off as negative as I feel. To avoid any sort of narrative thread, I think that some entries will include more writing; for others, images and perhaps video clips. We'll see.
In any case, now that I am sending words out into cyberspace, if anyone happens to come across them, I hope these writings find you well. Please feel free to comment. As with any new beginning, I have a sense of excitement, mixed with a fair amount of doubt as to what will transpire here. That element of open possibility intrigues me.
